Initial setup

  1. The process of adding the overlay is quite straightforward. Simply drag one of the included HTML files into OBS.

  1. Next, right-click the source and navigate to 'Properties'. In that section, check the box labeled 'Shutdown source when not visible'.

  1. Make sure the resolution is set to 1920x1080, otherwise, the animation will be cut off and not display properly

Navigate to the 'Hotkeys' section of the settings, search for 'BoringOverlay', and assign the Show and Hide properties to the same key.
